Brickwork

All brickwork bonds can be carried out to your specification to match in with existing brickwork to your property or surrounding area whether it’s a new project or work on a listed building.

Stonework

Being based in Kent, we are experts in working with Kentish rag stone and using the correct lime based mortars. We also have a vast experience of working in other forms of stonework including dressed stone and flint.

Our in-depth knowledge of stonework and love of working on listed structures enables us to provide a sympathetic approach when building boundary walls, repairs and rebuilds and restoration works to all listed properties in conservation areas, requiring lime mortars. 

We also have an extensive knowledge and background in repointing works carried out to these historic buildings from large estate properties to a single brick. 

A colour match can also be achieved so the work will look untouched.

Decorative work

We can construct many aspects of decorative work ranging from arches, dentil courses, dog toothing, radius work, corbelling through to twisted piers, panelled brickwork (herringbone) & Stone balustrades and coping stones.

Extensions

We have experience of dealing with the brickwork and blockwork to form cavity walls for extensions ranging from porches and conservatories to single and double storey extensions.

Walls

Whether they are straight, square or curved we are able to deal with the construction of any walls that you may require such as garden planters, garden walls, patio walls, boundary walls, retaining walls, stone walls and stone balustrades.  We also have experience of using lime mortar for brickwork and stonework.

Re-pointing

Repointing may be required to repair walls which have suffered weather damage or due to poor workmanship by using the incorrect materials on the brickwork or stonework.  We can deal with all aspects of repointing brickwork & stonework using sand and cement mortars as well as the more delicate lime mortars (NHL) which are often found in older properties & stonework.

Repairs

Brickwork and stonework repairs such as weather damage, a vehicle has hit a wall, bricking up vents/openings that are no longer needed through to cracks in masonry due to the wrong mortars being used & brick cleaning can all be carried out by us.

Alterations

Forming new openings in brick or blockwork installing new lintels, brick up or block up openings.
